Home learning information for parents

Home Learning

As your child cannot currently attend school due to coronavirus it is important for us that your children still have the opportunity to learn and follow the National Curriculum. If your child is off with illness the only thing they should be focussed on is getting fit and healthy again and there is no expectation from school for any work to be completed.

As a school we have decided to do this by producing home learning activities which can be found on your child's class pages, this contains work that is being completed in school. We have also added links below to the Oak National Academy, on this there are virtual lesson delivered by qualified teachers. Three to five lessons, depending on age, are available for each day and cover the full National Curriculum for each year group, they require minimum resources.

We would love to see any work that is produced, please send photos to the class email address, which can also be found below. During this time of absence we encourage the children to continue reading as much as possible. We know that home learning can be very challenging, don’t worry if they are not working ‘normal’ school hours. If you are having difficulty with any aspect of the home learning or need additional reading books please contact the school office.
