Home Challenges 

Autumn 1 and 2 

We are learning phonics ( Phonics helps your child to read and write) 

We have learnt all of phase 2 sounds.

Click on the documents below and why not spend some time with your child and .....

Autumn 1 Challenge:

1. try and say the sounds at home?

2. try and write the sounds/letters 

3. Match up game- match up the initial sound with the pictures 

You could even try and draw the picture and write the letter next to it!

Autumn 2 Challenge: 

Try and sound out some of the words using your phonics and write them- remember it doesn't matter if these aren't spelt correctly parents/carers e.g. helicopter - could be spelt from your child helikotu.
