Uranus Class

Welcome to Uranus Class!

 

Uranus class is one of our Year Two classes, they are taught by Miss McMahon.

Children in Uranus class will also be supported by Ms Simpson and Mr Nangumba.

 

Spring 2:

Swimming will still be on a Monday afternoon. ALL children are required to participate in these sessions. If your child is unable to swim, please inform Miss McMahon on the Monday morning.

 

PE will be on a TUESDAY MORNING. Please can children come into school in their kits as lesson starts at 9am. Full kits are required.

 

Homework is sent on a Friday and is due back on the following Wednesday (unless stated otherwise). Spellings are sent with the homework and does not need to be returned with the homework, these are for children to practise and learn as an on-going task. Please test your child on the spellings once during the week.

Uranus have had 7 GREEN CARD DAYS so far this half term! Keep it up Uranus!

Just a reminder to parents that children should be reading EVERY NIGHT for at least 10 minutes

Armani's FANTASTIC letter to the RSPCA regarding the Twit's horrific treatment of the animals.

SILVER CARDS

Uranus Class were super excited to recieve a letter of response from the RSPCA. They wanted us to help them by making posters to catch the beastly Twits!

Ali and Giovanni helped the RSPCA by making a WANTED poster to catch the mean Twits!

Uranus became Police Officers today! We had to file a police report for the 4 little boys. They got stuck in the Big Dead Tree in Mr Twit's garden and Mr Twit was going to cook them in BOY PIE!! We collected evidence for our reports.

Pukalnila's fantastic work in Literacy yesterday. She has used adverbials, a ?, some fantastic vocabulary and paragraphs! Amazing work Pukalnila.

We celebrated Chinese New Year by writing our names in Chinese and made dragon masks.
