Literacy - Task 1: develop a rich understanding of words associated with feeling hopeful. In this lesson, we will introduce new vocabulary, identify word pairs and synonyms and apply the vocabulary in sentences.

Literacy - Task 2: generate vocabulary. In this lesson, we will refer back to the knowledge we developed in our last writing lesson and consider how West-Indian immigrants felt at this time. In this unit, we will be discussing issues of racism and discrimination in Britain. For some people this will be be a sensitive topic. If that applies to you, you may want to do this lesson with a trusted adult nearby who can support you.

Science - What is reflection and how can we use it? In this lesson, we will be learning about reflection! We will learn about reflective and non-reflective materials and their uses. Then we will look at two different types of reflection: specular and diffuse reflection. Then we will learn the law of reflection. For this lesson, you will need a pencil, a piece of paper and a ruler.
