Swimming - This is currently on pause and will resume again soon. We will notify you via email as soon as we have an exact start date.

PE -  Currently on WEDNESDAYS with Coach Malachi, children must arrive to school wearing their FULL KITS: plain black shorts/leggings/tracksuit bottoms and a plain white t-shirt. No jewellery, including watches, to be worn for health and safety reasons.

Home Learning – Updated Fridays

Reading: Children can swap books in class when finished and will track their home reading on our class chart. We visit the school library every Friday, where they can borrow new books—please return them once finished! 😊

Spelling Homework

Spelling: Each Friday, children will bring home five personal ‘Common Exception Word’ spellings based on their assessments. We will have a test on Friday and any incorrect spellings will be repeated the following week. In addition to this, the Year 3 spelling rules are taught in class and can be practiced at home using EdShed, which offers five fun spelling games. Short, regular play sessions work best!

Maths Homework

Number Facts: A highlighted number facts grid has been sent home, showing which facts your child is confident with. Practice these at home through flashcards, games or Times Table Rockstars, also best in short, regular bursts.
