Below are some Maths objectives for you to work on with your child while they are at home:

 

Saying numbers:

 

• Count on to 100
• Count back to 0
• Count beyond 100

 

Reading numbers:

 

• Read numbers up to 100, e.g. 50, 88, 21
• Read 3 digit numbers, e.g. 120, 185, 230, 740

 

Times tables:

 

• Count on in multiples of 10
• Count back in multiples of 10
• Calculate:  3 x 10 = 30, 7 x 10 = 70 etc

 

Number bonds:

 

• Learn number bonds to 10, e.g. 10 + 0, 9 + 1, 8+ 2, 7+ 3, 6 + 4, 5 + 5

 

Number line:

 

• Addition on a number line
• Use a number line to add 1 digit numbers.  Make sure your child lays out the work correctly on the number line
