Our class is led by our teacher Ms Humphrey and our TA Ms Parker.

PE 

Mondays and Thursdays.

Please ensure that you have your full PE kit for both days, so that you can take part in the activities.

Homework

Reading

We encourage children to read at home to a parent/carer or older sibling, each day, for at least 20 minutes. Ask them questions about a paragraph or chapter. For example: What did they enjoy? Why? If they could, how would they change part of the story? In the front of their reading journals, we have attached activities to complete. Children who read at home regularly, are given points, which result in a prize at the end of each half term.

Literacy

Each Friday, children are given grammar or comprehension activities to complete. This is linked to work from the previous week. Spellings are also given at this time. 

Maths

Our Maths homework is usually linked to work that is completed during the previous week. As a challenge, some children may be given work linked to our next Maths focus. All children should also practice their times tables at home each week.

Topic

The valiant Vikings will be the focus for our topic work this half-term. We will learn where and when they came to Britain and how they changed the way of life.
