Swimming: Currently fortnightly on Wednesday Afternoons

Parents into reading: Every Fridays at 2pm

Star class is one of three reception classes. The children socialise and interact with each other all day. They also learn through play indoors and outdoors. Protective clothing for outdoors is provided by the school. However we do ask parents to please let their children bring in wellies and keep it here in school. This term's learning focus is on ‘Confidence’. Children will be working towards being independent in their friendships along with developing their self-confidence and managing their feelings and behaviour.We have carpet sessions where the children learn phonics and also display their work through show and tell.

General information

School uniform:

All children must wear the school's uniform

School Bookbag

All children must have a school bookbag and must also bring it to school every day.

School Hours:

Help us to make a great start/finish to the school day.

The hours of the school day are as follows:

Mon – Thurs

Gates open: 8.30am

School starts: 8.50am

School finishes: 3.25pm

except Fridays which is 2.30pm

Please can you label ALL children’s clothing.
