Arithmetic Questions - answers included

  • Literacy - Task 1 In this lesson, we will recap the rules associated with adding plural suffixes and learn a spelling practice strategy. The 10 spelling words set in the previous lesson will be revisited and tested.
  • Literacy - Task 2 In this lesson, we will learn how to structure sentences using colons to introduce a list. We will also recap the features and PALLP of diary entries. We will then use vocabulary generated in previous lessons to write the opening paragraph of our diary entry. In this unit, we will be discussing issues of racism and discrimination in Britain. For some people this will be be a sensitive topic. If that applies to you, you may want to do the rest of this lesson with a trusted adult nearby who can support.

Benin

Our Topic this half term looks at the ancient Kingdom of Benin.

Before we learn about the history of Benin we need to learn some of the very important vocabulary that we will need to know in order to understand more about Benin's history. 

Task: Like we have done in school you are going to create a 'VOCappULARY'. There are 9 words to define.

Challenge: Can you research 3 more key words and define them?

The Rainbow Fish is an award-winning book about a beautiful fish who finds friendship and happiness when he learns to share. The book is best known for its morals about the value of being an individual and for the distinctive shiny foil scales of the Rainbow Fish.
