Dear Year 5 Parent/Carer and children,

Welcome back to the start of the new term. Currently, it seems to be one filled with uncertainty but as before, our first thoughts will be how best to keep your child safe while they continue learning.

We have provided daily activities for the children, to keep them busy and to limit any worries they may have about what is happening around us. However, if at any time you have a question or are unsure about something, please use the class email to contact us:

We were looking forward to seeing you all at the beginning of this new term, especially to see your smiles as you saw your friends, for the first time, after the break. I know that by the time I see most of you I will need to stand on a stool to be face to face with you.

Kindly try to complete all of the activities you are assigned and email me photos of your best pieces of work so that I can share them on the class webpage.

As always, stay safe.

Mrs Coote  and the Year 5 Team

In Year 5 the children will be expected to read daily and write at least half a page about what they have read in their Reading Journal.
