Elsa's Special Interest...

Disney, Cali Sade and Singing!

Elsa shared some of personal passions with us today. She did a brilliant presentation to the class; she spoke confidently and clearly to nearly 30 people for 15 minutes!

She went on to do a performance of one of her favourite singers... Cali Sade - it was fantastic; a star in the making.

We then enjoyed the follow up activities - working as one Base and one Team together.

A great end to the week. Big thanks and congrats to Elsa - what a star!

Mr Mace's Special Interest Friday: Nature

Team Zodiac headed to Sydenham Woods for Mr Mace's Special Interest Friday. They had a lovely time roaming the woods, finding out about camouflage, listening to a story, practicing gross motor skills in balancing games and the 'floor is lava', going on a bear hunt and building a den.

The children did a good 90 minute walk, earning their fish and chip Friday Lunch!

Marcus shares their passion for Beyblades!

Marcus did a brilliant presentation to a large audience and shared their expertise with the class who then participated the challenge of learning about and playing with Beyblades. The Battles were exciting and gave the children the chance to practice winning and losing!

Basketball expert Coach Fox teaches us all a thing or two about basketball!

Mr Monty Fox gave an excellent presentation about his special interest... Basketball! He then showed us some moves and skills out on the court, helped us complete some basketball drills and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship during a knockout tournament. Well done Coach Fox!

11.3.22 Billy loves Thomas the Tank Engine!

We enjoyed learning all the names and numbers of the trains, sharing positivity amongst ourselves and working together as a team!

4.3.22 Gabriel loves languages!

We learnt about countries in Europe and how to speak French, Spanish and Russian.
