Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope you all had a restful Easter break. We have an exciting Summer ahead with some interesting and fun trips planned as follows:

Wednesday 22nd April Hindu temple in Lewisham.

Monday 18th May Port Lympne animal safari park.

Monday 22nd June British library in central London.

Swimming.

We will swim every Wednesday morning. Please ensure your child has the following swimming kit:

                 Costume

                 Towel

                 Hat (your child will not be allowed into the pool without a swimming hat)

                 Goggles

PE

We will have PE every Tuesday afternoon. Please ensure your child comes into school wearing their PE kit:

             Black joggers, leggings or shorts

              Plain white or purple T shirt

                Trainers

Reading and Spelling

Reading - Please encourage your child to read every day. Please sign your child's reading record 3 times a week to confirm their reading. If your child is having any difficulties, please let me know.

Spelling - Each week we will learn a new spelling pattern. Your child will bring home a weekly sheet to practise them. Please support your child with these spelling patterns. Thank you.
