Former LA Lakers basketball player, Steven Bucknell, visited the school this morning to talk about his career, the importance of having a healthy diet and basketball in Lewisham. Then Mercury class got the chance to take part in a basketball session with Lewisham coach Jonathan. They had a fantastic session in the September sunshine honing their skills and taking part in some games.
