We have been learning our classroom rules this week-
Classroom rules:
good listening
good sitting
good looking
good waiting in free play/ good waiting on the carpet ( hands up)
good talking / kind words
We have also been learning Zones of Regulations-
these are to do with our emotions and how we are feeling.
We looked at the emotions and their colours to represent them
sad/happy/worried/angry.
Its ok to feel all these emotions.... it's how we try and regulate ourselves ( bring ourselves back to calmness) which is most important in our development.
Some things we can do to help us:
feeling sad- have a hug/ talk to someone/ play with someone
feeling worried- talk to someone- teddy bear/ person
feeling angry- deep breaths/ timers/ sensory toys/ mindfulness colouring
feeling happy- JUST BE YOURSELF!
Watch the clip below too and see if you can guess the emotions.
