Year 3 Maths

We follow the NCETM Maths Mastery curriculum at Athelney. Below you can see the Year 3 curriculum map, which shows what we’ll be focusing on across the year. If your child finds a topic tricky (or is ready for more challenge), we may adapt the pace a little to make sure their learning is secure. This is our planned coverage for the year.

Times Table Rockstars

A great way to build confidence with multiplication tables is by using Times Tables Rock Stars. We suggest aiming for 15 minutes per week (little and often works best!) – but children are very welcome to play for longer if they’d like.
