Dear Graduates - A Message From Kid President

Our favourite book at the moment is "There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom" by Louis Sachar. As part of studying it, we are going to write valedictorian speeches for the central character. These skills will also come in handy when it's time to say goodbye to Athelney in July!

One of Kid President's dreams is not only to grow up and graduate but also to grow up and give the speech at graduation. This is what that speech would be. We hope it encourages you to go out and be awesome every day. The world needs you!

Topic: The Benin Empire

We are learning about the incredible and impressive Empire of Benin which thrived in Western Africa for centuries. There are important lessons to learn about colonialism, propaganda and conflicting perspectives.

Science: Light and Shadows
